We guarantee that it'll be a really fun experience and you won't regret it. It's a part of the House experience that everyone should participate in! Important details for Swimathon
- 8th July 2011
- CCAB Pool (21 Evans Road)
- 2.30pm to 5.30pm
- You will need a NSSA Certificate of minimum Bronze attainment

And here's a quick message from your swim capts, Joanna and Zara:

Swim Carn is back again, and totally different from the earlier round. There will be a mass swim event, (Ie Swimathon!) So everyone and anyone can swim! Hurray! In addition, there will be fun and exciting relays for you to be a part of, and a chance for you to show your support for the house! It really does not matter if you (think you) cannot swim because Mass Swim is more of leisure swim, and you can have fun with your friends while chilling out in the water! [#totallycool]

You can swim as many laps as you want and there is no maximum number of laps to be swum. ☺ Relays are largely a team effort, so as long as everyone gives their best shot, you are already a winner. Also it’s only 25m (half a lap!)

Proposed Events
1. Inter-House Mass Swim (1 to 1.5hrs)
2. Novelty Race (1 to 1.5hrs)
• 4x25m Inter-House Freestyle Relay (By Level – 4 races)
• 4x25m Inter- House Breaststroke Relay (By Level – 4 Races)
• 4x25m Inter-CCA Freestyle Relay
• 8x25m Inter-House Freestyle Relay
• 8x25m Inter-House Fun Race

Participants of Events
• In the Individual Events (Mass Swim), each House may submit as MANY ENTRIES as possible
(however must have NSSA certificate, at least a Bronze).
• Each competitor may participate in only TWO RELAY EVENTS and school swimmer may
participate in only ONE RELAY EVENT in her Division.
• In the Relay events, each House may submit only ONE TEAM PER EVENT.
• The team must swim in the order listed in the submission.
• Any events with less than 3 entries will not be swum off and the participants will be informed of
the cancellation.
• All entries are subject to verification by the Swim Carn Committee

RAH RAH RICHARDSON!

Introduction
Richardson is the big, beautiful and BOOM-DYNAMITE house of blue! Named after Miss C. Richardson, a distinguished and serious ex-principal of RGS, the house has always aspired to soar to greater heights year after year since the implementation of house systems in the 1940s. Each batch of Richardsonians is encouraged to strive to reach their personal peak of excellence, while embodying the TRUE BLUE Richardsonian spirit, and passing on the Richardson legacy. Our zesty and spunky Richardsonians never fail to bring the house to glory by displaying admirable sportsmanship and skills in the annual Sports Festival, as well as excelling in other Inter-House Competitions each year.

The theme for the year 2011 is Rah Rah Richardson!

May each and every one of us embody the burning spirit of a true blue Richardsonian.

Goal
